VH-1 CELEBRATES THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF AMERICAN GRAFFITI!
AMERICAN GRAFFITI is THE film about cruisin' down the boulevard in a cool car and listening to hot rock-n-roll. VH-1 will focus on this classic American film with it's special: AMERICAN GRAFFITI THEN AND NOW. Did you know that the film's soundtrack contains over 43 hit songs from that time period? The film's budget was so low that George Lucas could not hire a composer, so he culled the music from classic 45's. The VH-1 special is going to check with some of these artists and see what they have been up to since AMERICAN GRAFFITI hit the screens in 1973. The film also helped launch the careers of Richard Dreyfus, Harrison Ford, Ron Howard, Cindy Williams, Suzanne Somers and a host of others. VH-1 is going to trace the path of these stars from where they were then and where they are now. There is even going to a man-in-the-street type of interview where people will be shown a clip of the film and asked to identify the up and coming star featured in it! AMERICAN GRAFFITI THEN AND NOW - watch it to hear plenty of great music, see some great clips, and learn some exclusive behind the scenes secrets! AMERICAN GRAFFITI THEN AND NOW showtimes:
